ECJ Awareness Week: February 23rd-27th, 2026

Feb 23rd - 27th, 2026

We have made it as easy as possible for schools to participate in as many (or as few) events as they have capacity for, using our comprehensive Program Toolkit. The days are flexible–except for the Klamath Dam Removal speaker event–so schools can adjust or switch days around according to their needs. However, most people will be running the program on the schedule outlined in the toolkit, and it will be fun to follow along with statewide engagement on social media.

Here is a quick preview of what each day’s events will look like:

Day 1: Intro to climate justice trivia

Day 2: Klamath Dam Removal online speaker panel (REGISTER HERE!)

Day 3: Volunteer Day

Day 4: Documentary Day

Day 5: Art Competition

Weeklong: ECJ Booklist

We hope that these activities sound interesting, and that you’ll talk to your school’s green team to coordinate the week! Other clubs like National Honors Society, film club, art club, and volunteer organizations can and should be included in the planning for this event. All the necessary materials are included in the Toolkit linked above (including promotional flyers!), but we also ask that you fill out this Interest Form so we can track who is participating and keep in contact.

Thank you for your time and participation! If you have any additional questions, please contact emmaj.ourfutureoregon@gmail.com. We hope you enjoy ECJ awareness week!
