Regional Leaders

Most participating schools have two Regional Leaders who lead the program at each school. There can also be “Call-to-Action (CTA) members” that sign up to read our newsletter, get involved in actions we send out, etc. If you would like to be a CTA member, there is a link at the bottom of this page (and on our homepage).

Student leadership roles

Core Regional Leaders (CRLs)
Assistant Regional Leaders (ARLs)

School Liasons

Primary Role

Core student leadership for the network, alongside staff
Crucial support for network success
Primary contact for the member school (usually associated with a green team/eco club)

Focus

Strategic planning, project-team initiatives, regional support
Project-team participation, school-level engagement
Sharing Our Future participation opportunities, such as projects or events

Scope

Support own school and other schools in the region
Primarily represent their own school
Main point of leadership for a member school

Experience

Usually 2+ years in Our Future (many 3–4 years)
May be newer to the network
Can be new or familiar with the network

Impact

Guide direction and help implement across schools
Support project team work and encourage their school's participation
Keep your school informed and encourage participation
